  1. Regarding your lice spray- if you add Neem oil (which is non toxic and safe) if there ARE any existing lice it will kill them! It basically has the same chemicals the lice have themselves (also goes the same for sucking and chewing bugs which makes it good for your garden) and more or less makes them forget to do the things they need to do to survive like.. breathe, eat, reproduce, etc.
    But thank you for your spray idea sounds yummy! 🙂

    I’ve copied and paste it below
    ( and i meant all my compliments 🙂 i should add ” with elegance and grace ” 🙂

    hello Lisa, where to start ? I am becoming addicted to your videos 🙂 …and i totally agree with you: “creativity” is not about abundance of resources but doing the best with what you ‘ve got and you certainly demonstrate that concept while preparing some of the recipes you’ve shared ….without mentioning the Scandinavian feel of the settings ( simple, luminous and elegant…the same could be said about you :-)), you manage to prepare delicious and original preparations without the usual army of overly expensive food processors and usual blender brands etc….

    sorry my post is a bit long …

    thanks for giving me the idea of making my raw vegan pesto with my old mixer in a bowl as i am currently without any blender / foodprocessor. 🙂

    I’d very much appreciate your feedback on the “blender” versus Nutribullet

    While watching you making raw soup and some of the “latte drink” etc….i ”ve seen you’re using the Nutribullet quite a lot . It seems easy , small enough for a “Parisian kitchen” (= tiny ! ) and easy to clean in no time.

    have you prepared hummus / dip with it ?( or do you use a food processorfor making hummus dip? ) Can the Nutribullet make/ prepare raw almond milk like a powerful blender ? is it as good / versatile as let’s say the Magimix blender ?can you chop herbs as well ?

    I hesitate but can’t buy both and would value your feedback ..
    i tend to be “minimalist”…and do not want to spend more time cleaning and getting all the stuff out etc…or having to replace the item every year because it is poorly made.
    A blender seems to offer more choices of preparations for raw recipes compared to a food processor. I am currently hesitating between the Magimix blender ( still pricey in France despite being a French brand but not as expensive as a Vitamix or a Blendtec) and a Nutribullet (though it won’t be easy to purchase as in he uk they do no seem to be willing to ship it abroad) .

      Sorry about the delay, been without wifi in Stockholm for a few days!
      The NutriBullet is quite new for me, first I was completely bowled over as it was such a step up from my rubbish food processor.
      I have had it for a few months now and it’s been subjected to heavy use sometimes 5 times a day.
      The plastic ring has come off and the single blade insert has been damaged.
      I think it’s a great machine for medium use and especially if you need to travel with it or have a small kitchen like I have, but I feel I will have to bite the bullet and get a Vitamix at some point. I also need a separate food processor for chopping/mincing nuts. I have not done hummus yet but I’m planning a raw recipe in the New year so will let you know 🙂

  5. Thank you Lisa for taking the time to reply in the mid of christmas preparations and while being away :-)I love Sweden!
    your answer really helps.
    So for the time being, I will buy a powerful hand blender (700 W) to make my dips and sauce and the occasional smoothies and will save for a more sophisticated machine like a Vitamix… although i’d advise you to shop around as the Magimix blender is “serious competition” at a more competitive price .
    As for the tiny kitchen, i would not have guessed 🙂 your home in the videos looks so beautiful with lovely natural light or perhaps it is your living room , nevertheless they give a really nice feel …like my dream come true “home sweet home” in my favorite town : London…well probably in an other lifetime considering the current price of a tiny flat in London when you’re single .   8. Hi Lisa, I have made your sauerkraut so often now giving and teaching the recipe to others. Love the dill! One questions however, you mentioned the class you took to learn all these fermenting techniques. I think the woman’s name was Ossa?? Do you have that information. I would love to learn about the fermented cheese you talked about; as well as the cheesecake recipe and method. Thank you so much for the videos….love them!
