Frozen Yoghurt Triangles

Frozen Yoghurt Triangles is an easy dessert to pull out of the hat.
I always have yoghurt in the fridge and my freezer is full of frozen berries so this is something I serve quite often. It’s an easy and refreshing end to a meal.

Frozen Yoghurt Triangles
You need:

– 450 gram coconut yoghurt

– 1 cup of mixed frozen berries

– 1/3 cup  honey

– vanilla pod

Directions:
Mix the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Pour into a round springform cake tin.
Freeze for an hour and a half. Slice and serve straight away.

Cooking with Kids: MANGO FROYO

Finally a new video!
I’m cooking with my 10 year old again and this time it’s a dessert.
This Mango Froyo is so refreshing and delicious. perfect as a pudding on a hot summers day! You need 3 ingredients and it takes 30 seconds. That’s the sort of dessert I can deal with now school is out for the summer 🙂

Mango Froyo
Ingredients:

– 250 gram frozen mango

– 1 cup coconut yoghurt

– 1 tablespoon honey

Directions: Put everything in a high speed blender. Serve.

Creamy Strawberry Dessert

I’m sure you all know how incredible healthy chia seeds are: full of omega 3, minerals like calcium and manganese and lots of fab fibre. .
And if you like me have fussy eaters in the house, who don’t like the texture of the seeds as they expand (I know! how can you not love it! well a small child I know says it reminds him of eating fish-eyes) this is the perfect recipe.
It tastes just like a gorgeous bog-standard strawberry and cream pudding, the secret super-ingredient can not be detected :).
The trick is to bled the seeds to oblivion!
And don’t worry all the goodness is still intact.

Creamy Strawberry Dessert
Ingredients:

– 200 gram strawberry

– 1 1/2 cup coconut milk or nut milk

– 1 1/2 cup coconut yoghurt

– 4 tablespoons chia seeds

– 2 tablespoons raw coconut nectar

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/8 teaspoon cardamom

Raw Chocolate and Zucchini Dessert

This raw nut-free chocolate and zucchini dessert is my to-go-to when I’m strapped for time and also eager to get the kids to eat more raw veg.
I always have the ingredients at home and it’s beyond quick to whizz up.
It’s basically a little uber tasty power house pudding full of natural raw natural alive goodness.

Raw Chocolate and Zucchini Dessert

Serves 2-4

Ingredients:

– 1-11/2 tablespoon raw cacao

-1 small zucchini

– 1/2 cup coconut milk or nut milk

– 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

– 1/2 avocado

– 2 soaked dates in 1/2 cup water

– 1/2 teaspoon maca powder

– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

This completely raw mixed berry and chia seed pudding is perfect as a fresh ending to a meal or as a super start to the day.

Chia seeds are a great source of plant based omega 3 fatty acids and they are also  full of filling fibre.

Matcha tea is jam-packed with hardworking antioxidants. boosting your metabolism and helping the body detox itself.
