Just been to the movies to see the Norwegian super successful thriller Headhunters. It’s gooood!! Go and see!
This is the story:
Roger Brown (Aksel Hennie) is a short, corporate head hunter who’s living way beyond his means and is moonlighting as an art thief to support his suave lifestyle and beautiful trophy wife.
A chance meeting with Clas Greve (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) a handsome Danish executive between jobs and with an extremely valuable painting in his possession, makes Roger belive all his financial troubles are over, but of course Clas is not exactly what he seems and Rogers life spirals out of control.

Headhunters has been sold to over 50 countries, a record for a Norwegian film, and not surprisingly Hollywood is making their own version.
It will be interesting to see if the hero will have to dive into excrement and then drive off in a tractor with a dead dog attached to it, as he’s chased by an evil ex mercenary, haha can’t stop laughing.
This film is brutal, uncomfortable at times, extremely funny, very exciting AND with a moral ending!
I went out in the street feeling uplifted and happy, skipping all the way home.

Headhunters is adapted by  Norwegian crime writer Jo Nesbö, I have not read any of his books, but will head over to Waterstones first thing tomorrow morning, if they are anything like this story I’ll be well entertained.
