Cooking with Kids: MANGO FROYO

Finally a new video!
I’m cooking with my 10 year old again and this time it’s a dessert.
This Mango Froyo is so refreshing and delicious. perfect as a pudding on a hot summers day! You need 3 ingredients and it takes 30 seconds. That’s the sort of dessert I can deal with now school is out for the summer ūüôā

Mango Froyo
Ingredients:

– 250 gram frozen mango

– 1 cup coconut yoghurt

– 1 tablespoon honey

Directions: Put everything in a high speed blender. Serve.

Lime and Rose Dessert Raw and Vegan

This Lime and Rose dessert is so good!
I love love love to use rose in puddings, well in actually  everything I can get away with.
This is also the perfect way to hide avocados for the kids as they think (well the little one does) that the green colour comes from the limes.

Lime and Rose Dessert:
RAW and VEGAN

Ingredients:

– 3 avocados

– 6 majool dates

– 2 lime zest and juice

– 1 tablespoon rose water

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– pinch of Himalayan crystal salt

– berries for decoration: strawberries, raspberries, pomegranate, blueberries

Raw Lemon Bites

These Raw Lemon Bites are sooo addictive but also full off goodness!
I’m really into anything and everything lemon flavoured at the moment and these bites hits the spot.
They are extremely easy to make, you just mix and leave in the fridge for a few hours and voilà!
It’s the perfect dessert or serve it as a special occasion snack.

Raw Lemon Bites
Ingredients:
crust:
– 3/4 Cup quinoa flakes

– 1/2 cup desiccated coconut

– 3/4 cup dates

– 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

– pinch of salt

Lemon layer:
– 1 cup soaked cashew nuts

– 3 tablespoons coconut nectar

– 2 tablespoons coconut oil

– Juice and peel from 2 lemons

– peel from 1/2 orange

Creamy Strawberry Dessert

I’m sure you all¬†know how incredible healthy chia seeds are: full of omega 3, minerals like calcium and manganese and lots of fab fibre.¬†.
And if you like me have fussy eaters in the house,¬†who don’t like the texture of the seeds as they expand (I know! how¬†can you not love it! well¬†a small child I know says it reminds him of eating fish-eyes) this is the perfect recipe.
It tastes just like a gorgeous bog-standard strawberry and cream pudding, the secret super-ingredient can not be detected :).
The trick is to bled the seeds to oblivion!
And don’t worry all the goodness is still intact.

– 200 gram strawberry

– 1 1/2 cup coconut milk or nut milk

– 1 1/2 cup coconut yoghurt

– 4 tablespoons chia seeds

– 2 tablespoons raw coconut nectar

– 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

– 1/8 teaspoon cardamom

This raw nut-free chocolate and zucchini dessert is my to-go-to when I’m strapped for time and also eager to get the kids to eat more raw veg.
I always have the ingredients at home and it’s beyond quick to whizz up.
It’s basically a little uber tasty power house pudding full of natural raw natural alive goodness.

Ingredients:

– 1-11/2 tablespoon raw cacao

-1 small zucchini

– 1/2 cup coconut milk or nut milk

– 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

– 1/2 avocado

– 2 soaked dates in 1/2 cup water

– 1/2 teaspoon maca powder

This recipe is amazingly tasty and gloriously healthy as well.
It’s completely raw so all the nutrients are intact and bursting with vital energy, ready to be used by your body.
You only need 5 ingredients mango, sunflower seeds, lime, coconut sugar and coconut oil.
It’s also extremely¬†easy to make, basically blend, chill, enjoy!

 

 

Raw Mango Dessert
Serves 4

Ingredients:

-1 large mango

This  chocolate and matcha tea cream dessert tastes naughty but is really super healthy!

Serves 2

Ingredients:

– I tin coconut milk (creamy part),
– 1 1/2 tbsp. raw cacao
– 1 tsp. matcha powder
– 4 tsp. coconut sugar
– stevia
– sea salt
