Oh yes, it’s been one of those days when I need to pay extra attention and really concentrate on the above quote :)

I’m not naturally a very patient person, having children have certainly forced me to be more chilled, but not to the extent that the above quote is not relevent :)

A quote I love but have trouble following :)

Well hello there!
Thank you so much for coming back even though there’s been a bit of a radio silence from my end with no new posts for almost 2 weeks.

Have I run out of things to say, you might wonder? Actually It’s the complete opposite…
Have I told you I have started to study Naturopathic Nutrition?

It’s beyond interesting and I’m learning SO much, I feel the more I learn the more I need to know before I write anything. But that’s just silly, I won’t let that stop me I will just add more as I learn more.

Naturopathy is not completely new to me, I have dabbled with in the past with short courses and as a client.
I have always been extremely interested in alternative treatments full stop and with two little boys (one with allergies) It just made sense to go down the nutrition route.

(And yesterday it dawned on me that I will be able to take on clients when I’m done!! A whole new career! I have already designed my future office!)

Feeling excited! :)

These are the enormous Bloody Marys I made with the cherry tomato salsa from Seggiano.
Exceedingly nice!

First Advent

Happy First Advent!
The first of advent in Sweden means the start of the Christmas celebrations, with mulled wine (glögg) and ginger-bread-men.

I popped into the Christmas fair at the swedish church today to beef up my santa collection, and to stock up on some other christmas essentials like smoked reindeer sausage and skumtomtar (foam gnome candy, to die for, trust me!).
It’s a rather social and posh affair, but don’t let that put you off, it’s also very friendly!

It’s on Saturday 24th 11-6pm and Sunday 25th 12-5pm at 6 Harcourt St, London w1H 4AG.

Apparently, yesterday was the day that the seasonal stress should have kicked in.
I’m fairly OK. My little one made sure we got enough baubles for at least a couple of trees after a trip to Liberty’s amazing X-mas department and my tickets to Stockholm are booked.
A Post Office survey found that the most stressful thing is choosing gifts for loved ones. I’m not on top of that yet..
But if I were to follow the trend of self-gifting (I hadn’t heard of it either) I would defiantly be wrapping up this gorgeous 31 Minute bag from Phillip Lim and for my birthday in February the new red clutch from Alexander McQueen.
