Film: Isle Of Dogs

As I’m a huge Wes Anderson fan and my 10 year old loves anything Japanese we went to see Anderson’s new stop-motion-animation Isle Of Dogs yesterday. We both loved it!
Set in a not-too-distant future Japan, dogs have been vilified by the  loathsome Mayor who prefer cats, and the mutts are banished to Trash Island. But 12 year old Atari wants his dog Spot back, he steals a plane and crash-lands on Trash island to find his best friend.

Beautiful animation, great rhythm, fab music and amazing characters!
Just look at the faces of those adorable dogs in the above trailer 🙂
These mutts are further brought to life by Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Scarlett Johanson and Yoko Ono to name a few of the voice stars.

We loved it so much we are off to Wes Anderson’s Isle Of Dogs exhibition at The Strand tomorrow!
