Hello there patient people!
Spanish holiday without WiFi, new job and a laptop that died meant no blog posts for a long time.
Thank you for bearing with me!
First of all I have to say I was extremely happy with the Dell Support Team. On the evening before going on holiday they ran a diagnostic and decided they had to change hardware, motherboard and fan, and within 18 hours a super helpful engineer was here doing a fabulous and very quick job.
Hurrah for Dell!
On to more interesting subjects like mascara.
I’m obsessed with long thick eye lashes, but I also absolutely detest falsies.
Mascara is important business for me
I’m always happy with all the Lancome mascaras and I absolutely love the result I get from Chanel’s Inimitable, I have used it since it came out.
Diorshow is also OK.
There’s been a lot of hype about Benefits “They’re Real” mascara and when my friend Marie told me it was truly amazing I know I had to try it.
I bought mine at Gatwick Airport on the way to Spain and I have been using it for a couple of weeks now.
So, the verdict: Oh yes! Loooong, looong and thick lashes, very nice result. The sort of lashes I adore.
I like my mascara blacker than black and this one has a good colour, maybe not exactly as dark as the Chanel Inimitable, but black enough.
It’s a bit “wet” if that make sense, so easy to make a mistake.
The brush is easy to use, you can really get into all the small spaces.
The only downside is that it’s quite hard to take off, I have to go over twice with my eye makeup remover and even then I sometimes wake up with panda eyes..
I will certainly buy it again, maybe even try another colour..
